End of March and April are one of the best times of the year to visit Belgrade. During this period the city blooms and almost everywhere you look there will be a cherry tree or a gorgeous Magnolia. Go for a walk around our favorite district Vrachar, the most densely populated part of the city, where besides numerous charming cafes and excellent restaurants, you will enjoy the beauty of huge Magnolias, proudly standing in the front yards of almost every house you will pass by.

We went home for a few days last week and had in plan to take lots of pictures of Belgrade in its spring edition. Unfortunately it rained most of the time (of course as soon as we left, the sun came out), so we only got to snap a few shots, but we think even this is enough for you to get a glimpse of how gentle and beautiful the city is in this time of the year.

Time at home was short, but we enjoyed it to the fullest as always. One of the best things you can do on a bad weather in Belgrade is just to treat yourself with some delicious dessert or savory dish in some of the many extraordinary restaurants. This time we recommend you Terminal and Voulez Vous, both at Vrachar, the bloosom district. Mala Fabrika Ukusa and Dijagonala are also great options when in this area, surrounding the Temple of Saint Sava. We already miss the taste of home and the warm, welcoming service of Belgrade waiters! And our family, dogs and friends. We love Vienna so much, but as you know, home always has a special place in your heart. <3
