Being at the right place at the right time is crucial in certain moments. And if you are dressed properly – than you nailed it! So were we on a freezing cold day in December, at the square am Hof in the center of Vienna. It was already dark and the yellow smoke started spreading around a building of Verbund. Kids, adults, everyone was approaching the building to see what this is about. And there, on a sign in the corner you could learn that this was an installation called Yellow Fog of a famous Danish artist Olafur Eliasson. The artist’s idea was to change the atmosphere of the square with this simple and yet so magical installation.

We have patiently waited for the right moment and then started snapping the pictures. We just started warming up and then… The fog was gone! The security guys (who by the way probably had lots of fun looking at this shooting 😀 ), gave us a leaflet where we could read more about this installation and see that it was on for only one hour every day, once the sun has set down. Never mind, we were persistent and returned the next day on time to do everything properly. Isidora was indeed brave to keep on posing in the cold wind, while the temperature was in minus. But it was worth it, since we had lots of fun and love the outcomes.

What do you think? 🙂 Now you know too, where can you capture pictures with a cool effect like this!
