We already wrote about French bistro Le Bol last year, but as we visit it often, we wanted to share with you a few pictures more.
Monsieur Seguin is still our absolute favorite salad in Le Bol (and most likely in Vienna in general 🙂 ), and recently we found out that you can order a small portion of it. The waiter told us that many of their dishes can be ordered as small portion, which is perfect if you are not very hungry, or if you prefer tasting several smaller portions of their dishes.

Tarte au Citron is one of the most popular desserts at Le Bol, and according to many the best lemon tart in whole Vienna! Even though we are no fans of citrus desserts, we gave lemon tart a try. It is not our cup of tea, but we cannot deny that it is very refreshing, creamy and delicious! The crust is buttery and perfect, so we definitely recommend you to try this light dessert. Seguin salad and lemon tart make a really nice combination for a summer lunch! 🙂

There is also another solution, in case you want to have some heavier dessert after the salad, or some crispy bagette. Right next to Le Bol, is Oberlaa, a very well known Viennese patisserie. They have a huge offer of cakes and always fresh macaroons, which is often buy there. But our all time favorite cake at Oberlaa is chocolate mousse cake. Light but rich in flavor, not too sweet… Perfect for chocolate lovers like us!

What is your favorite place for a light lunch in Vienna?

xoxo,
Una and Isi
